Phase Converter - to convert single-phase electrics to three phase electric. Most machines are 575, 3 phase, 60 cycle, 440, 3 phase, 60 cycle or 220, 3 phase, 60 cycle. If a company, mostly in rural areas, only has single phase electric which is found in all households (that is 110 single phase), the phase converter will convert a single phase and convert it into three phase.
