Description:
Capacity two way high frequency shuttle press. 4' x 9' capacity. Shuttle table for laying up the top laminate and bands (solid wood strips or solid edgebanding around the 4 sides of the core at the same time). The lay up is done outside the press and is than shuttled on the table into the pressing area. (6) 5" bore x 4" stroke air cylinders for end pressure and (13) 5" bore x 4" stroke air cylinders for side pressure. 8 - 12" air bags for top pressure while the rims are being cured. Supplied with 20 kW generator. Two stage pressure set up for cylinders. This press will apply solid wood bands to two. Three or all four sides at once on any solid core material in a few seconds, A fresh load is prepared during the cure cycle to expedite production, this machine is ideal for say the manufacturing of solid core doors or fire retardant material doors or similar that require a solid heavy piece of wood edging to be attached to the material on all sides at the same time for attaching the door hardware. The entire machine is mounted on I-beams for easy transport and location. Comes with safety fencing.
