  • The plant can produce walls 10 foot high by 40 foot long and can produce 2,400 feet of wall in an eight hours shift, Subject to the size of house being manufactured approximately 4 completed homes can be built in the plant on a daily basis.
  • The entire plant is CNC controlled and requires WUP software to run all the equipment, All machines are supplied with a UPS that will run for 10 minutes in the event of a total power loss.
  • The plant requires approximately 120,000' .to be set up and run efficiently.
  • The price shown below does not include removal or setup however the manufacturer of the equipment is available for tear down and re-installation, Please contact us for further details.
  • The Plant comprises four major sections: 1 - The beam cutting center, used for cutting posts and beams for wall construction, parts for roof trusses and flooring, utilizing a five axis CNC saw and router. 2 - The wall manufacturing and assembly operation which includes the Framing Station and 3 CNC Multi-Function Bridges. 3 - The panel cutting section for cutting out the substrate placed on the frame be it plywood or other material such as drywall, etc. utilizing a CNC router. 4 - The floor line for producing the floors for each modular home which includes the 2 CNC Multi-Function Bridges.
  • The details of each of the above sections are described below. 1 - Beam Cutting Center for fast and efficient cutting of beams for wood frame production.
  • The station is suitable for cutting to size of nail plate trusses, wall elements, roof elements and floor elements,,he station is applicable for rectangular cuts as well as for miter and jack rafter cuts.
  • The 2" X 4" or similar are located on the infeed table and will be pulled to the saw and router automatically which are housed in a totally enclosed sound booth.
  • The pre loaded software which is on the computer attached to the sound booth C/W screen will tell the saw and the router what to do.
  • The saw can cut at any angle, compound or miter and the router can be programmed to do the cut outs on the wood for the plumbing or electrical connections.
  • The system has 2 marking pens 1 ball point style pneumatically controlled.
  • Used for marking the conduit cuts and is not sensitive to dust and one ink-jet style for alpha numeric labeling on almost all types of material.

  • Software package wupedit professional. 2 - Wall manufacturing and assembly operation is used to do the manufacturing of complete wall elements automatically.
  • The data is downloaded to the machine tool set up and the system initiates infeed/outfeed as well as the widths of the walls which are adjusted automatically.
  • The "Framing Station" will do the following.
  • The top and bottom rails of the walls are inserted into the machine which are loaded manually and are positioned automatically.
  • The studs are inserted manually which are fed to the Framing Station by 6 different trolleys that are moved manually on rails.
  • Once loaded they are also positioned automatically and are than clamped and nailed horizontally to the top and bottom rails.
  • The outfeed takes the wall to the next position in the process of clamping.
  • Inserting studs.
  • Windows and door frames all done by NC control and servos.
  • There is also a cutting station to cut the wall element to required lengths in this process.
  • This continues until the required length of wall is complete.
  • From here the walls are transported to subsequent worktables.
  • The height of the walls can be from 5 to 10 foot and the min. stud intervals can be from 0-20 mm.
  • The minimum lengths of wall can be 1500 mm to a maximum length of 12,000 mm.
  • The Wall assembly system has 3 CNC multi function bridges.
  • These bridges can be fitted with an array of various options from CNC controlled stapling stations (different types for different types and sizes of staples).
  • CNC controlled nailing stations.
  • CNC drilling.
  • CNC routing (6 kW.
  • 18,000 RPM) all controlled by the software.
  • These bridges can have multiples of these stations fitted to each bridge.
  • One of these bridges is fitted with a foaming station that applies foam onto the substrate and between the studs for weather insulation.
  • The wall elements are automatically fed into the working position and once located at the zero stop the software will communicate with the various stations as to what has to be done on each individual wall element, if it has to be nailed, stapled, routed, cut or drilled.
  • The size of each bridge will be determined by the amount of units on the bridge and each one is fitted with safety equipment including 2 rows of electronic light barriers.
  • The other modules that come with the system such a special tables which include 14 tables - 9 Profi tables that can feed both cross and length wise.
  • Have stopping systems.
  • Pneumatic clamping and tilting and 5 - Optimats for straight transfer that produce components for the walls which include the windows and doors.
  • These tables are 12,500 mm long X 3,440 mm wide and have a fixed "Y" stop and an adjustable X and have 3 belt conveyors running throughout the table at the bottom that are electrically driven.
  • All tables and conveyors are driven on rails mounted into the floor of the plant.
  • The system recognizes each element and will automatically slow the conveyors when they reach the zero stop.
  • The speed is variable from 0 to 50 m a minute and is controlled by the software.
  • Once these modules are assembled they will be transferred and will be fitted automatically into the frame.
  • The weight of these heavy items is supplied by support tables using tilting rollers and lifts tables and the system is supplied with a feeding portal which is electronically controlled.
  • Some of the tables have PLC driven hydraulic tilting devices that will lift a wall element from 0-92°s in approx 30 seconds and will handle a wall...
